Covid-19 Space Planning & Management

We can arrange for our space planning expert to visit your premises and ensure you’ve covered all the necessary H&S measures to create a Covid safe work space. It’s important to consider aspects such as ventilation and maintaining airflow, reviewing desk arrangements, breakout areas, meeting rooms and if you have enough signage, storage, hand washing and waste management facilities onsite.

You might also like to consider having an antimicrobial surface coating applied to key work areas like desk tops, chair handles, door handles and buttons for extra protection which lasts 12 months.

What does sustainable furniture really mean?

Environmental Commitment

Our aim is to help our customers purchase more sustainably and provide advice and guidance on how to do this and how to dispose of their pre-loved furniture responsibly.

Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) found in workplace seating cannot be recycled and from 1st Jan 2023 the Environmental Agency has announced that this waste can no longer go to landfill and the only option for disposal is through incineration.  Learn more here. Quills can assist with the disposal of seating which contains POPs via our waste management service.

We work with suppliers who are FSC and FISP (Furniture Industry Sustainability Programme) accredited and those that have Take Back Schemes in place. Get in touch to learn more.

How we work with our customers…

  • Initial meeting – After an initial scoping meeting we’ll discuss your requirements and our office furniture expert can assess your current layout to ensure you are making the best use of your office space, and are compliant with all the latest legislation.
  • Interior design – Our interior design specialists can review your current workspace dimensions and layout, making suggestions for interior design and space planning improvements to suit both your style, needs and budget. We will then create 3D visuals and CAD drawings of the proposed workspace for your review.
  • Furniture showroom visit – We can arrange a showroom visit and our Project Manager will show you the latest furniture ranges, and talk through ideas for colours and upholstery fabrics.
  • Delivery and installation – We will arrange the delivery and installation of your workspace / office furniture based on your schedule. Short delivery lead times are available for some items of furniture.
  • Customer service – A member of our dedicated after-sales service team will ensure you are happy at the end of your project and any snagging issues will be resolved in a timely manner. We believe good communication is key throughout any project.

Fit-Out Service

We can provide full fit-out services.  Our team have a wealth of industry experience managing relocation projects throughout the UK.  This service is available on a per project basis and we can incorporate your own key suppliers if required or recommend our own.

Project Management

We will work with you to create the perfect working environment, within budget and on time. We pride ourselves on our ability to turn your plans into reality.

Space Planning & Design

We use the latest software to provide you with accurate floor plans. These plans will be used during installation to ensure all products are installed to point of use and allow you to clearly see that the furniture you require will fit.

H&S / DSE Surveys

Our interiors specialists are on hand to provide help and advice on your office layout. We can also carry out health and safety DSE’s (display screen equipment), to ensure employees are sitting safely and comfortably.

Showroom Visits

Showroom visits are available to allow you to have a full sensory experience seeing and trying the furniture for yourself.  We work with multiple suppliers, so don’t worry if the furniture you see or try doesn’t quite suit your needs.   Virtual online tours are available too.

Sample Products

We are happy to provide ‘sample’ products to allow you to try before you commit to buying in bulk for a refurbishment.  Another option is to book a showroom visit for the full sensory experience.

Recycling

It’s important to factor in disposing of your pre-loved furniture responsibly.  Talk to us about recycling and our Take Back Schemes to assist you with your business environmental target.

Move Management & Archiving

We are pleased to offer a crate hire service and archiving solution to assist with your office move.

Delivery & Installation

We will supply, deliver and install your office furniture and interiors products.  We will also remove any packaging left over to be re-used or recycled.
